Which Buisness
The buisness that we chose to do our website on is the Centinela Cafe.

What was it like to work on this project?
It was really hard to accomplish and finish this project the right way when gruop members in our group didn't help but one. We didn't have information for the project because the person in charge of the the info never found the information needed for the project.But we tried our best to finish the project.

Did u finish the project? why or why not?
No we didn't finish the project because we did most of the things in the last minute. We didn't communicate as much as we were suppose to communicate with the client. The client never agreed for us to do the website on his Cafe. We didn't find as much of information about the Cafe. and so no we didn't finish the project.

Has this ever happened before?What can u do from preventing the same thing from happening in the future?
Yeah this has happened before in were i have people in my group that don't do shit and just mess around.. I think that if i don't want this from happening then i needed to pick the right people to work with me. people that i know would do there work and smart enough to know if we are doing it the right way.

How much time did you spend in other websites?
I did spend like 2 days in just other website .

What was it like to work with ur team?
It was ok i guess but we didn't have people that helped with nothing.

Walk Out on Monday

People are protesting around the country so that they won't pass the bill. The bill is trying to make ALL immigrants look like criminals when the only reason they are here is to work and have a better life. The reason for the walk out on monday was to show the public that we care about what would happen to the immigrants if the bill does become a law and that no matter what we would always stick together. Yeah we did achieve something with the walk out. A lot of people were supporting by honking, giving us signs, and even joining us for our walk. There really weren't any consequences because the police knew that we weren't doing anything bad and just let us go. and the school consequences well they knew why we walked out we never did anything bad we all sticked together so i don't know why they are trippin. We weren't the only school walking out and even if we weren't organized we accomplish what we needed to accomplish so i'm proud for everybody that walked out and showed some love and support to all the immigrants. I don't think that anything should of been done differently. The march on saturday and all the walk outs from the students did change a lot of things because they saw all the people that disagreed with the bill so no i don't think anything should of changed.

What do you think about the article? I think that the article about the online things is true. But not only is it the rapest fault it is also the teenage girls fault for doing everything people tell them to do and fall into a trap of believeing everything people tell them.

What have people done on friends sites such as myspace that put themselves in danger? They put pictures that are not appropiate and put things like were they go to school.

If you use a blog or myspace, what can you do to protect yourself? Don't but your full information about nothing u think will get people close to u.

What do you think about Greendot’s efforts to block sites such as myspace? I don't think that its good because there are millions of ways to get into myspace and not only can they get into myspace by the school but also from sumwhere else.

I have learned so many things about the health workshop . About how using drugs abuses u. How it could effect u but also ur family. The drugs because this days a lot of people use it and they give u a lot of pressure to try them. We can improve this workshop by involving more people and visiting more schools.

The three things that i found interesting in the article are the number of seniors that droppout there last year of highschool. I think its a big deal for highschool students because they just give up when they find out hat they have to get all this credits are so far from getting them. Its also a big deal to the society because alot of this students that dropout become part of a gang and do more crimes then graduates.

I have 3 cousins that dropout from highschool. They were working and studing at the same time.They all started looking at the money they got payed and decided that it was better to work then continue studing since they already had a job. all three of them also got pregnant at a early age.

A reason that i would dropout from highschool is i have to go to summer school to improve my grades and that my grades aren't good enough to graduate. Also if i get a good job.

Animo Venice can not make people go to summere school cuz that the time the students have there vacation OUT of school and to party but not to make up work from scool days.

My first semester in Animo Venice was fun. I have lots of friends and everything like that, but my grades were no good. I failed english, reading, and spanish class. The easiest class for me was curriculum class which i got a "C". The most difficult class for me was english because i don't like the teacher and i just didn't get anything. I can prove my second semester grades by paying more attention and go to office hours. In 10 years, i want to be the type of girl that goes party all night long.

Winter Break

During my winter break I went to Mexico city and Oaxaca. In Mexico City I visited the castle's , museums and family. When I went to Oaxaca I went to visit lots of family, the churches and went to all the parties. During Christmas we spend it at my aunts house and ate and dance the whole night. For New Years we went to my grandpas house and celebrate my birthday, after that all the cousins went to the party down the street and we all had a great time.
And then on the 4th of jan. we came back and alot of family memebers came from fresno .

1.What do you consider as your “community?”What I consider as my community something loud with lots of people and lots of things happenening.

2.What is a problem that you have noticed in your community? Drugs and prostitution is one of the problems in my community Inglewood.

3.What evidence do you have about that problem? I know where they sell drugs and where there is prostitution.

City Hall , Newspaper , Magazines, and other things.

Pick one of the sources that you listed above. What does your source consider as a problem in your community? The city hall thinks that prostitution is one of the problems that Inglewood has. They are trying to do everything possible to stop that as well as drugs.

6. What evidence of the problem does the source provide?
They have secret polices that have catched drug dealers and some prostitute and there has been a march in Century street of a group of people to try to stop this to things.

2 days in a retreat

Animo Venice school went for two days for a retreat at Malibu. We did lots of activities from hiking to rock climbing. The first night we had the best party ever. Everybody was dancing
including the teachers. The activities i enjoyed the most was rock climbing but i was to scared to go all the way up. I hope we have one next year to.

I looked at the activity Ways of Seeing . I saw 3 different types of pictures and read some of the comments and a lot of people had different responds to the way the pictures looked like. The point that the activity was trying to make was to show how white people think about the black people.I learned from the activity that people think different about the problems between the whites and blacks.

Rosa Park died Monday night on October 24.2005. Rosa Park was famous for being brave enough to sit in the the spot of a white guy in the bus. The reason for her action were that she was tired of being critized for being black. She wanted to be proud for her race and wanted to show that black people also have the right to do what ever they want to do. Rosa as well was tired of sitting in the back while the whites sat on the front. Rosa was tired from work and still had to wait for the bus and when she sat in front of the bus a police came toward her and told her that she was under arrest.If Rosa Parks didn't have the courage to sit in front of the bus then nobody else would of because of the consequences by braking the law. Then maybe people that weren't white would've still have to sit in the back of the bus and have less rights then white people.

I think Bill O'Rielly means that if you're not able to protect your self from anything because of money or anything else then people aren'y goin to protect . . I really disagree because people with less class are the kind of people that need more help. people that are richer have the money to help those in need. Also the people that rescue get payed for what there doin but the people they save are saved but with no money , no house, and no one is goin to help them i think. I feel mad because some people feel affended just cuz there not rich.
